Overview of the DevOps Engineer Role
Join our dynamic and collaborative tech team as a DevOps Engineer, where you’ll play a vital role in shaping the future of our infrastructure and development processes. As part of our high-skilled international team, you will be empowered to learn and contribute, working closely with experienced professionals who are passionate about technology.
Technical Skill Requirements:
- Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (preferably Bash).
- Proficiency in at least one CI/CD stack (Gitlab, Github, Jenkins or similar).
- Knowledge of Git-based software developmnt.
- Experience with on-premises Linux servers.
- Ability to read and write technical documentation.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).
Good to have:
- Experience with Kubernetes.
- Experience with Ansible or a similar automation technology.
- Knowledge of logging, monitoring, and alerting technologies (Prometheus stack).
- Experience with OLAP and OLTP databases.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a STEM field.
Daily Duties:
- Construction and installation of new development tools and infrastructure.
- Coordination and communication within development teams.
- Ability to manage incidents and find root causes.
- Constantly improving development and deployment cycles.
